Privacy Policy

Who we are
Auxesis Learning (auxesislab.com) helps families, homeschool parents, educators, and institutions use AI to augment learning. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: keith@auxesislab.com.
Accounts are for adults
Campus accounts are available to adults (18+) only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Your children learn alongside you — through your account, with you present. That’s not a limitation; it’s the design: this is a parent-led program. Photos or work samples of children are posted at the parent’s sole discretion through the parent’s account. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will close it and delete the associated personal information.
What we collect
Account information: name and email address when you join the community or enroll in a course (stored in our website and email systems).
Community activity: posts, comments, and course progress inside our campus, visible according to the community space’s settings.
Email engagement: whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked, so we can send less, not more.
Purchase information: orders are processed by our payment processor; we do not store your full card number.
Comments and forms: when you submit a form or comment, we collect the data shown in the form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection.
Cookies: we use cookies for login sessions and basic site analytics.
What we do with it
We use your information to deliver the courses and community you signed up for, respond to your questions, process payments and refunds, and send you email you asked for. We do not sell your personal information.
Testimonials
We only publish testimonials — including any name, photo, or child’s work sample — with the express permission of the adult who provided them.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from email at any time via the link in any message. You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing keith@auxesislab.com. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Applicable laws
We’re not required to comply with COPPA because we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 — accounts are adults-only by design. If our practices ever change, we’ll update this policy and put COPPA-compliant protections in place first. Educators and institutions using Auxesis with students should refer to any separate data processing agreement we provide.
How long we keep your data
We keep account and community data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we’ll delete it within 30 days, except where we’re required to keep records longer for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. Email data tied to unsubscribed addresses is deleted or suppressed within 30 days of unsubscribing.
Advertising
We do not display third-party advertising on Auxesis, and we do not use your data for interest-based or behavioral advertising.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date above. If the changes are significant, we’ll also email active account holders.
Where your data lives
Our website, community, and email tools store data on their servers; our payment processor stores payment data on theirs. We keep access limited to the people and systems that need it to serve you.
[NOTE FOR KEITH — remove before publishing: have an attorney review this policy, together with the legacy under-13 account question already drafted in the Compliance Profile. Fill in the payment processor’s name in the purchase section if you want it named. New sections added Jul 20, 2026 per the EdTech privacy policy benchmark — confirm the 30-day retention timeframe is accurate before publishing.]
